Dark red, 95% opaque. Gentle on the nose; attractive and with mild perfume. Attractive texture on the tongue, with big blueberry flavours and a big palate presence - very attractive fruity core. Big flavoured aftertaste. This is a big and impressive wine, showing the very first early signs of starting to soften with age. Really good. Guessed to be Martinez 1997. 91/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
