Produced by Martinez. Mid red in colour, 60% opaque. Youthful on the nose, even a touch raw! Sweet, fruity and balanced on entry. Very soft tannins twinkle and tantalise in the wine, providing a soft milk chocolate core which disappoints slightly with a lacking of some complexity. Big, tingling aftertaste and a very long finish of sweetened raspberries. Very pleasant, but too simple to be great. Guessed to be Ribeira 1992. 85/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
