From ½ bottle. Light red in colour, slightly cloudy appearance. Slightly spirity on the nose, sweet redcurrants, slightly sour. Light bodied entry, thin texture; sweet fruit but a core of sharp acidity provides structure; little tannins remain. The flavour profile does build up on the late palate before a sweet and lingering red licorice aftertaste. A very pleasant wine, if rather light bodied. Guessed to be Warre 1991. 87/100.
