Medium colour and quite dry in the mouth; Not huge or long (at least compared with the other ports in this offline), but very nice. Slightly acid, but seemed as though it would pair superbly with soft blue cheese (and I will buy a bottle to do exactly that). Very good.

35% opaque; pale red in colour and starting to brick. Subdued on the nose, slightly medicinal and harsh. Lovely balance on the entry, showing sweet fruit and good balancing acidity but there is an unexpected harshness to the aftertaste and a hollow finish with a soapy tone. Not showing well. 83/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

A brief note: Strange nose - Petrol? - powdery dry mid palate.
