Picked this up whilst in Florida and looking for something for hanging around in a hotel for. They had the 1995 LBV but this was three bottles for $100, ending up at £18 per bottle. Sounded good but they only had one bottle, so Amy from the Grape found a couple of Rutherglen bottles for me instead. Had one of those over the week and opened this last night.
Beautiful dark amber colour with an excellent viscosity resulting in long, sleek legs. Nose was intense of caramel and oranges. In the mouth it was huge with coffee and chocolate and an orange peel finish. Really enjoyable and intense port which was completely different from the Otima tawnies. Well worth the £18.

Port is basically a red drink

Is it safe to assume you are not describing Amy here?KillerB wrote:Beautiful dark amber colour with an excellent viscosity resulting in long, sleek legs.
