This was my wotn
dark ruby with no signs of bricking
milk chocolate covered raspberries on the nose lending to a touch of spice.
Rich lush medium bodied wine with black licorice and lots of black berries that move around the palate finishing with the same black licorice flavor down the throat.

Started off a bit shaky, but this was the darkest colored wine of the evening, and the only one to markedly improve with air. This started in 3rd or 4th place, but was the only one left standing when the check game (except that the bottle had been emptied long before then). This is the only wine on display tonight that I would cellar. A strong showing from this shipper, which has struggled in my lifetime to produce wines anywhere near this quality.

Good color with definitive chocolate in the nose. To taste, it's gentle: very balanced, though a little dry. I can't describe exactly its flavor, rather the balance is its most notable aspect. Y says Vanilla nose, with an alcohol burn and some red fruit.
