1991 Morgan vintage port
Sweet blackcurrants on the nose as this was going into the decanter. A lovely garnet colour; 90% opaque. Lovely sweet blackcurrants and deep violets on the nose. Good imapct on the palate, on the full side of medium-bodied. Big and rich flavours, full of sweet fruit, flowers, gentle acidity and chalky tannins. Delicious flavours. Hot aftertaste, and a slow-to-develop finish that finally shows deep morello cherry and black chocolate and lasts a very long time. A much better showing than previous bottle. 90/100. Drunk 4 November 2011 after 1 hour of decanting.

I can also recommend this port if you are looking for something to drink while sitting by an open fire at 10pm on a mild November 5th.
