1966 Graham vintage port

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

90% opaque, deep red core and a mature rim. Lively and spicy nose, masses of plums and nutmeg. Very sweet entry, lovely figgy fruit. Very sweet entry, lovely figgy fruit, sweet and voluptuous. Tobacco spice shows on the edges of the tongue; very smooth and with perfect acidity. Gentle sweet tobacco aftertaste, sweet juniper on the tasty finish. Attractive port. 92/100. Drunk 14 October 2011.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
