SW94. Taste was of very dark fruit, with lemon on the tongue. Not come together: perhaps the current phase of the 1994s.

very dark red, slight bits of purple, classy restraint nose, a bit rasiny, quite long, despite closed very nice wine and well structured.

Deep red, very rich appearance; opaque. Sharp rhubarb on the nose, but less than on the QH94. Full bodied, with a thick texture and mouth-filling fruit flavours. Soft acidity, very gentle tannins and a beautiful balnce. Fruit and chocolate aftertaste before a long gentle finish of soft coffee. Terrific balance and great poise. 91/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Very closed. A mid-weight wine that is very dry. Not giving much away at this stage.
