NV Marks and Spencers Finest Reserve Ruby

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

From Quinta & Vineyard Bottlers Lda.

Deep red in colour, opaque and dense looking. Violets and sweet black fruit dominate the modest nose. Fruit is modest, but develops nicely and is supported by evident tannins. The aftertaste is full of fruit and the finish is very long and full of dry chocolate. This port has a great finish, but is light on the nose and a little simple on the palate. 83/100. Not bad for an emergency cellar defender.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
