From magnum. Deep red in colour, 60% opaque. Beautiful nose, spicy fruit, sweet and attractive. Dry entry, lots of firm tannins hiding the sweet fruit. Plenty of fruit on the late palate. Dried cranberry aftertaste; sharp fruit on the finish and a long soft, dark chocolate. One to leave for a while. 90/100. Drunk 1 Dec 2011.

A source of some disagreement between JacobH and i - i found this slightly disjointed with the same unattractively prominent brandy taste that i often experience with young lbvs.

But i can see there is good potential ***(**?) (86-87 now, 90 plus potential)
