The annual Christmas event, this instance on Thursday 15th December 2011, as always in The Bell, Wendens Ambo, Essex CB11 4JY, and as always with the theme The Unknown Shipper and His Peculiar Friends.

This was clearly a very old wine. Intense, delicious and simply beautiful. A big thanks is due to Dirk for allowing us to share this!

At the next auction of Sylvies in Belgium (3 feb) there is a bottle of this on the list. The estimate is not so bad, so a good chance to buy one if you're interested.
