My meetings in London next week have moved - I'll be in London on Wednesday now, not Monday (or Tuesday). Guess I'll miss out and have to wait until 16th.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

If we are two to four, we will have the small room, which has been booked with Ben. If we are five or more we must call (+44 20 7831 8365), and he might evict those who think that they have the larger room.

Alas table six, which seats six but isn’t in a separate room, was booked by a book club. Apparently they are quite raucous.

Theme? Port?

Thanks. I am happy with blind and there is no harm in including the cork sheet.

I believe I am free on Tuesday evening so would be keen to attend if possible. The only problem is that bringing a bottle is a bit difficult at the moment; might anyone have a spare bottle which I could adopt?

I also have a couple of options if needed.

Whilst shopping in London yesterday, i came across an intriguing half bottle that i had not seen before and would like to add as an extra (was due to be drunk last night before i organised an early morning bike ride in the chilterns!)

Now that Jacob is attending and we have the mystery potential attendee, are we still likely to be two to four attendees?

If it is touch and go, shall i find a suitable guest to ensure that we have 5?

This is meant to be a small trial run. I’d rather keep it small. If the mystery possible attendee becomes a non-mystery actual attendee, then matters are forced, but I prefer that they not be.

For those for whom it would be easy, please bring a printout of this page, ideally one from each of several printers.

If possible print on Tuesday, as extra tests might happen on Monday evening.

Sounds good
Matters have been forced due to an invitation I issued before reading this having now been accepted. The person concerned has asked to bring a friend, who we know.

Can we make this six please?
