Cr00: dark dark red, 90% opaque. I noted only that it tasted very young.

Spirity nose - lots of tannin and dark fruits - starting to open up. Nice, but not a big 2000 VP.

Deep red, solid magenta with an opaque centre. Rather closed on the nose, slight fresh and sour blackcurrant. Sour impact, hugely acidic - too burning levels! Soft tannins, plenty of fruit but still way out of balance. Hot finish, burning acidity that finally settles to allow a long finish through. This is well into its closed phase - where will it go? Not fair to rate it on this showing.
