Graham’s Crusted bottled 2004: awful nose. I refused to taste it. RLC suggested that the nose was ‟chlorinated rubber”. But in truth it wasn’t that good. Bought from DRT, who had bought it from Sainsbury’s, who had bought it from Fells, who had bought it from the Symingtons. Somewhere in that chain it had gone wrong.

Sweaty sock nose - not ready and seems quite closed. Finished much better than it started.

Proved to be a faulty bottle when we tasted the second one.
