W83, brought by CHJ. Red, 40% opaque. Bouquet light, and weakened by the draft. Great texture. Lots of red cherry fruit. Dry late. Great balance. Amiseed?

Modest red colour, firm rim, 80% opaque. Tight on the nose, full of sage and cranberries. Neutral entry, restrained, with very gentle and soft tannins. Lots of generous fruit and plenty of sweetness; mouthfilling but a touch too much acidity. Tremendously long finish, very sweet and concentrated. Slightly odd because the aftertaste disappears before the finish comes in strongly. 89/100. 2 hour decant.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
