W70, brought by RAYC. Red, 40% opaque. Dry. Heat late-palate. Great tannins throughout. Lightly dry. Again, great tannins and acidity.

Medium depth of colour, 40% opaque - clearly mature. Cranberries and junipers on the nose, but in a restarined way. Sweet on the palate with generous fruit and very gentle tannins; this grows on the palate with elegance and balance. Lots of very perfumed fruit on palate and finish. Really good port. 90/100. 5½ hour decant.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
