2004 Croft LBV
Half bottle; bottled in 2009. Deep red, opaque. Bitter cherries dominate the nose. Sharp edge to the entry, medium bodied and strongly acidic. Tannins are dry and chalky but there is plenty of cherry fruit that gradually dominates the palate. Tasty cherry aftertaste, and a long finish dominated by a mix of fruit and gentle tannins. Drinking nicely and has plenty of time ahead of it. 86/100. 24 hour decant. 10 Mar 2012.
