The most expensive of Lidl’s Santelmo products, at €8.79. Orange-pink, 20% opaque. To taste bland then horribly cloying.

From Lidl. Light in colour, with a golden hue; 15% opaque. Medicinal nose, with some sweet rhubarb. Burnt caramel on the palate. Surprisingly tannic although the tannins quickly soften to lead to a more attractive light brown sugar falvour. Reltively short aftertaste and finish. The only one of the Santelmo products that was not wholly repulsive. 70/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
