Deep red, slightly lighter than the Ramos Pinto Collector, but opaque. Blank nose, perhapos a slight hint of violets. Lovely texture, fragrant fruit and great balance - a really nice mouthfeel. There is a touch of licorice on the aftertaste and a good finish. This is terrific reserve port, and one which I would happily drink when in need of a young port fix. 86/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
