Bottled as BB&R own label. Dark coloured, with a hint of purple in the solid rim. Attractive fragrant nose. Nice initial mouthfeel, but a slightly harsh pine resin tone in the mid-palate. Tannins dominate the aftertaste and finish, but there is plenty of bramble fruit there. Pleasant aftertaste, but a little light on the finish. 84/100.
Top Port in 2017 (so far): Graham Stone Terraces 2015 and Quinta do Vesuvio 1994
2016 Port of the year: Cockburn 1908
