Df94, black-red, 90% opaque. My glass had lots of bottle stink. THRA’s tasted of dry plums, mid-weight, good length, but rather closed.

Nick Delaforce's first vintage as winemaker. Deep red, youthful, just less than opaque. Raspberry jelly on the nose, with a streak of grapefruit. Lovely elegant fruit on the palate, with great balance. Lots of spearmint on the aftertaste, mixed with strong cocoa tannins. Impressive. 88/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Same colour as the 1992. Very muted nose. In the mouth, loads of mint. Very deep, slightly gritty tannins. Very hard work. Quite acidic. Longish aftertaste. Needs 20+ years
