DfC87, dark red, 60% opaque. Nose had tobacco.

The taste flustered by a wrong glass the ‟salt” probably being dishwasher residue. THRA’s glass was much better but I had too little of it to take a useful note: ‟much more like ’85”.

Good and mature colour; 40% opaque. Spearmint on the nose, sharp and lemony. Youthful, acid focused impact with lots of sour raspberry. Short aftertaste dominated by the tart raspberry on the finish of modest length. Lacks a little balance. 83/100.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
