Thursday 24th May, in London

Organise events to meet up and drink Port. You may, of course, forego the drinking and just meet, but we're sure that drinking would be more fun.

Thursday 24th May, in London

Postby AHB » 08:38 Thu 17 May 2012

Theme: To be decided, probably something to do with Port
Place: The Bunghole Cellars, corner table booked
Who: AHB, JDAW (may be late), RLC (but maybe not), RAYC (but maybe not)
When: Thu 24th May at 6:30

Previous message:
We don't have anything planned for next week. Would Thursday 24th May work for anyone? Probably at the Bunghole.

I think you are right...a whole week without something arranged is a 'heinous crime'...TBH is favourite but should we not pay our previous host Jonathan a visit at Grapeshots...could be an ideal opportunity if numbers are low.

Or even our previous previous host Ian Wright, now at Canary Wharf (which is very convenient for Waterloo).

Obviously I'm in. Obviously I'd vote against anywhere other than TBH until end of May...

Summary: on Thu 24th May, some people, who unknown except that some will be late, will be meeting somewhere—to be determined—to drink something—to be determined. Sure: I’m in.

Given that I am the only person confirmed as arriving on time and JDAW is the only other person confirmed to be there at any time. I am minded to put this back a week and suggest 31st May as our next get together.

Thoughts?

In the absence of any other comments, this offline has been cancelled. I'm not certain to be available on 31st, but that is the only day next week when I have even a slim chance of being available. Someone else had better lead the arrangements if we decide to meet up next week.

Instead JDAW will be drinking Croft 2005 LBV near the Bunghole.

First draft of the placemats.
