1985 Fonseca

Post by g-man »

Popped and poured and air decanted for 30 minutes.

you guys had me worried so i popped one of my cases to check it out.

Smooth palate wetting tannins that seem to bring out the sweetness in your palate.

Black licrorice and allspice nose backed with some red fruits.

Full notes of plums, cinnamon, ground anise and some fine sweet wet tobacco that lingers on in the palate. It's just the same blockbuster wine that I've remembered.

my bottle seemed to be fine. I will admit that I only had dry reds and it wans't a port tasting.

You drank Port, ergo it was a Port tasting.
