1945 Graham vintage port

G45: dar red, 40% opaque. Nose noted as ‟Oh dear. Off.”, and later as ‟Still stinking”. Taste very acidic. JDAW.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Good colour, but unpleasant nose - full of rubbery oxidation; perhaps this has been maderised. Not tasted and not rated.

This did improve in the glass, slowly developing an attractive aftertaste and finish.

NR. 12-Jun-12. Decanted 3 hours.
