1970 Cockburn vintage port

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Lovely firm red. Very pronounced nose, wonderful to sit and smell time and again. A little neutral on entry, with lively acidity but gentle fruit. The fruit builds up nicely to very high volumes, delightful and delicious. Lovely aftertaste and a long, lingering and delicious finish. 91/100. 10-Jun-12. 9 hours decant.

Ck70 dark red. Taste of leather, with heat, and plum and apricot behind. Spice as well. JDAW.
