I have not tasted a Vintage Port from Andresen older than 85 yet.

Pale-red color with slightly brownish notes, very transparent, almost no rim. Very classical bouquet of an Vintage with some age: honey, toffee and some chocolate notes, all perfectly integrated. The palate is integrated with a lot of sweetness. Honey and some spicy notes in the back. Long, extremely pleasant aftertaste. One to look out for as they should not be too expensive.

Also a surprise, that I´ve had never expected, from a producer without any reputation for vintage ports. Andresen 1963 makes me a lot of fun.
