G70. Red, 50% opaque. Soft, mature, with a hint of heat. Slightly more dilute than is usual for G70. But lovely texture, and very very long, sticky at the end. Wonderful length.

Closed on the nose with a baked caramel character. Heat-affected? I wonder if there are better showings of this as it is well-regarded.

Mature appearance, rose rim; 20% opaque. Mature, with sweet tobacco on the nose. Delightful impact on the palate, but a harshness on the mid-palate before an empty, watery late palate. Slightly light, harsh aftertaste before a long and lingering burnt sugar finish of great length. This is not a good bottle of this port. 86/100
