2000 Sandeman Vau

2000 Sandeman Vau (375ml)
SV00, in half, recently delivered. Dark dark red, 90% opaque. Nose has some bottle stink. Taste has some of the same stink, then heat, and cherry fruit with good weight. I’m hoping the stink will blow off soon.

A few hours later the stink has gone, al;most completely. What remains is pleasant, medium-to-light, sweet, with perhaps cherry fruit. Thoroughly drinkable port, except that it seems to come in half-size bottles. No matter: some means of improving the average will be found.

Target four hours decant time.
