D80, decanted 17:30. Lovely red to pink at edge. Nose had dark plum fruits, and was very sweet and full. Taste somewhat closed. Sweetness, ‟hidden”. Strongly dry mid-palate. Big, but needs more time in the cellar. Perhaps another five years.

From magnum. Deep red with a hint of mahogany in the centre and a pale rim; 60% opaque. Fantastic nose, rich and mature, full of attractive fruit. Smooth and carressing on the palate. Dry, slight tinge of birch sap and rhubarb fruit. Mid weight. Big pine-sawdust aftertaste and a very long, dry finish. Great port. 93/100.
