NV Ferreira Tawny 10YO

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Mature red colour, with a bricking centre. Restrained, but attractive on the nose. A refined citrus acidity covers the palate with a depth of orange flavours before a long, burnt sugar finish takes hold. Fine tawny port. 85/100. 13-Jun-12.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

Fr 10Y tawny. Red-orange, 30% opaque. A hint lighter than the Dona Antonia. Softer, but I prefer the cheaper one.
