1982 Graham Malvedos

Post by jdaw1 »

GM82, a dozen halves (six for DRT, six for me) recently removed from storage. Red-brown, 40% opaque. Nose and taste both showing strong but not quite overwhelming acid, with red fruit behind. Good length, and drinkable. But drink soon. Excepting library stock, clear your cellars of ½×GM82.

Also see GM88.

Give the ’82 three hours decant, after which it was pleasant drinking. Acidity a little too prominent, but can be drunk with pleasure. Indeed, a proper 750 would have been much more helpful than the 375 opened.
