2003 Quinta do Noval vintage port

Deep red and opaque. Restrained on the nose; on the palate the fruit is hidden with the tannins dominating. A big wine that is rather closed and unbalanced at the moment. 92/100. Tasted at the BFT on 24 April 2013.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!

2026: Quinta das Carvalhas 80YO Tawny
