Cruz LBV at Morrisons. No queue at the moment!

Post by Conky »

Just been into Morrisons (Chain of Supermarkets) and they are proudly selling Cruz LBV 2000 for £10.

Now I know Cruz has a dodgey reputation. And I have previouly, sort of, stood up for their 87 VP which was similar to an ordinary LBV. But even though I was after an ordinary bottle around the tenner mark....I couldn't!!!
Morrisons has hundreds of bottles though, and there's no noticable queues!
So if someone wants to take one for the Forum, purely in the advance of Human Endeavour....Good Luck!

In my world, there were no good alternatives, so its looking like I'll finally crack open a Morgans 91. Shucks! :D

There must be a big demand for Cruz LBV somewhere. Morrisons were selling it at £6.99 two months ago. They muct have hiked the price up to refect increased demand :?

I suspect it will return to £6.99 with a ticket saying £3 off.

Seems like an awful lot of money for toilet cleaner.

You got me there...
I guess I should try it once, but it's awful hard to find Cruz over here. I did see many bottles of 1989 VP Cruz in Porto for about 18 euro, but somehow I passed...

(Perhaps Thankfully) I have never seen Cruz ANYTHING in Canada. I know out of curiousity I would pick one (or more) up... like being unable to look away from the impending Train Wreck.

Hmm. Perhaps I see a germ of an idea for a blind tasting when Ronnie and Lady Roots are in the UK later this month. Morrisons is only a 10 minute walk from my house...
