Nasty stink. Aggressive swirling releases a hint of what this should be, but this was a port to stay away from. NR.

Disappointing, since it was from the same stock that led to this impromtu tasting last year and had been picked out of my shelf of "banker" bottles.

Warre. Funky nose, lots of bottle stink - very smelly. Bottle stink flavours contaminate the palate. Served blind, was guessed to be Warre 1970, BBR own label bottling. NR. Decanted 9 hours.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
