Friends!

Apologies for not having posted more regularly -- I am concluding a busy week by boarding my flight to London this evening (woo woo).

A few things:

1.) Filet steak, medium rare + chips, please.
2.) Would certainly be up for splitting the Niepoort 66 -- I mean, this is a 66 horizontal after all, hard to imagine a more suitable occasion (unless a Niepoort horizontal is imminent)
3.) RAYC is it too much to hope that by now the Doty Cup has been handsomely engraved?!
4.) Oscar had mentioned possibly joining the tasting. I will reach out to him to get a sense of his status.

Look forward to seeing you all soon!

There's a rather nice G69 colheita...plus the Prince of Wales "investiture port" is pretty good if you ever come across that.
I had intended to include the Graham 69 colheita in my original post; I wasn't aware of the "investiture port" though, will look that one up.

Can i confirm this is a conscious order for chips (thick-cut) as opposed to the standard fries (McD-style) that The Bunghole serves alongside steaks?

You will not be disappointed!

So, thinking the Croft 66 was in a specified box, I went searching for it tonight. It was not there :oops:

Are any of the offers of adoption still available please?

Thank you.

Tom’s Rebello Valente wasn’t taken. But adopting the Fonseca would probably be better. Please let me know placemats need to be printed.

Updated draft of the placemats.
  • BMHR bringing the Fonseca;
  • RAYC bringing the Dow;
  • Resumption of international Cr66 crisis.

If you rearranged the glasses on page one you could spell the word Crofts, this sublimating your anxiety in an aesthetic form.

Phil has requested the same. Currently:
  • The smaller-type Titles are in the same line;
  • The brands currently owned by the The Fladgate Partnership are togther;
  • And likewise Symington Family Estates;
  • And likewise Sogrape.
I favoured these qualities over spelling the name of one of the ports (why privilege that one?). If you can find a contrary consensus, it will be followed.

Any way we can arrange "D", "D,W" and "W" side by side?

Updated draft of the placemats.

    I can get the ‟D,W” between the D and W, even though, for five glasses, I prefer /RectangularDislocation to /Diamonds. But maybe, with five beside six, I prefer the latter, as the middle rows align. Team choice between this and the previous are these placemats yet sown up?

Discussions are ongoing as to whether "Ni" joins the party. Happily that would seem to fit in with your desired outcome...

Alternatively, rather than having the DW between D and W, it could be next to both triangularly; while keeping the ports from the different producers together, this could be done as:
.F..T. .G.GC.
Cr..O. .W..D.
.N..S. ..WD..

This would also reduced the number of glasses in the nearest row, which might help if we are eating and the room is a little CrOWDed. Of course this would be no good if a shrubbery is required.

Loses the alignment quality liked by djewesbury; and smaller-type Titles no longer in the same line. :-(

Though that could be fixed with [ /Array /Positions [1 2] [0 1] [2 1] [0 0] [2 0] ].
