1963 Calem

Jay popped this 3 hours prior to serving

stained ruby with bricking through out.

This had a delicate nose of ground cinnamon and allspice with noticeable spirits.

The body reminds me of "textbook aged port".
medium weight, slighty nutty, a nice sugared cranberry reduction that has been watered down a little finishing with a spicy cedar box aftertaste

I’ve never had Cálem 1963. Note to self: must taste.
