Bottled by Berry Brothers. Medium red body, 40% opaque. A touch flat on the nose but does show some sweet fruit - could this be slightly corked? Some sweetness on the entry to the palate, then some very faint TCA on the tongue but the wine still has great fragrance and a huge finish with plenty of floral components. Big presence and a long finish that is very chewy and carries just the tiniest hint of TCA. Served blind this was guessed to be Warre 1977. 85/100. Drunk 02-Oct-13. Decanted 9½ hours.
