2009 Rozes

Post by AW77 »

2009 Rozès
D+0: smells of strawberries, D+4,5 h: smells of plum, a little bit of eucalyptus and a tiny bit of pepper, very dark colour, almost like ink, very smooth in the mouth (hardly any tannins), not really sweet, more off-dry, a little bit of plum in the aftertaste, quite a long finish, 90 P.
Although Rozès VPs seem to be a red rag here in this forum I really must say that I enjoyed this port very much. I'm not sure if it will age well, but savoured young it's a delight.
