opened with the coravin

muted smell, touch of honeyed apples but that too fades, slight spirits show up.

very noticeable tannins mixed with licorice and stone fruit that dries out and leaves tannins lingering.

shut down now.

would not try again in a while

what is the coravine?

the coravin is such a cool device. Well worth the money.

Sorry - spelling mistake - meant "coravin".

The point being that I thought the whole purpose of the coravin was to avoid "opening" the bottle.
