1990 Smith Woodhouse LBV (bottle matured)
A brief indulgence of one of the lesser beasties in my cellar:
Decanted yesterday, and little changed from from freshly decanted to now - the suitabiity of LBV for immediate consumption after decanting is one of it's great advantages.
This is a little bit of a sickly number though - a little over sweet and very chocolatey - very similar to the Niepoort LBV of the same year.
Not over youthful though, nor in decline - one for current drinking.
