1995 Quinta do Vesuvio
1995 Quinta do Vesuvio Vintage Port
Prior to settling an overwhelmingly bitter aftertaste with a kick of mint at the beginning. After a day it settles a bit, nothing on the nose, honey initially followed by the mint and bitterness and a little heat. My least favoured vintage of vesuvio.

I've only tasted this once so may have to dig another bottle out to try it again seeing these comments. Interesting as my experience was very different - I commented in my notes that this was fruity but with huge tannins.

interesting i just had another bottle from the same 6 pack and it is a fruit bomb with an under current of tannin very inline with AHB's most recent note...
