1997 Croft Roeda

Post by AW77 »

D+0h: smells of red currant, raspberry and the Croft "silkiness" (there is something in Croft that reminds me of silk, I always recognise it in a Croft, but cannot really name it), D+3,15h: quite dark, dark as ink, smells strongly of eucalyptus, does not smell of fruit anymore, D+4h: smells only slightly of eucalyptus now, is now more full-bodied in the mouth (not so weak anymore than after D+3h), sweet, but not too sweet, liquorice in the mouth, the finish gets longer now than after D+3h (has a quite long finish now), has liquorice in the aftertaste, good port, 88 P.
This TN was made before I decided to decant younger SQVPs at least 5hs.
The Eleventh Commandment: Thou shalt know thy Port
