Purchased from auction at Tennants. Pale orange, 10% opaque. Plastic and marzipan on the nose, delicate and interesting. Soft marzipan on the palate, with a little gentle orange-flavoured soapiness. Hot aftertaste, soapy finish. Elderly and frail, but very pleasant. 82/100. 8 hour decant.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
