Mid red, dark rose rim; 40% opaque. Hollow on the nose compared to the previous two Warre vintages at this tasting; a swirl releases attractive nutmeg and vanilla cream. Fruit flavours build gradually to a delicious strawberry jam on the palate but with a slight dryness to it; comes with a nice structure. Lovely tobacco tones and sweet, ripe fruit. Big tobacco hints on the finish; good length with concentrated sweet strawberry. 89/100. Decanted 8 hours
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.

W66, decanted 11:00. Dark red, 40% opaque. Palate: lovely sticky red fruit, leather mid-palate, and gentle heat throughout. That stickiness was very very long.
