1980 Graham

Post by jdaw1 »

With SushiNorth in London a few of us braved the tube strike to meet in the Bung Hole, the chosen theme being ‘Crazy 8s’.

G80, decanted 11:30. Dark dark red, 70% opaque. Nose and plate corked. Dry finish — very unusually for Graham.

I said that it was corked before anybody else did — and usually I’m insensitive to TCA. Other comment: JES is, apparently, even less sensitive than am I. And WPS, usually excellent about this, wasn’t sure.

G80 should have been WOTN. Instead a duffer.
