Fruity, slightly aggressive and a touch tanky on the nose. Hollow entry, mineral dominated showing little of Croft's typical luscious fruit at first. Dry tannins support the mid-palate fruit bit the balance is missing. Delicious chewy fruit-salad sweet finish and a great length. Perhaps this is just starting to close down. 92/100. Drunk 14-May-14.
Top 2025: Quevedo 1972 Colheita, b.2024. Just as good as Niepoort 1900!
