1994 Taylor

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Dark centre, brick red rim, 95% opaque. Clean nose, distinctly minty . Soft and sweet on the palate, restrained fruit and a powerful acidity that combine to give rather a tight body. Patience on the palate brings an attractive fruitiness. Soft chocolate on the aftertaste, pleasantly fruity but with a nutty dryness and an incredible length finish. Not worthy of its perfect Wine Spectator rating and quite difficult to rate today as it is just emerging from its chrysalis. 90/100. Drunk 14-May-14
