2011 Pocas

Post by Alex Bridgeman »

Deep maroon in colour with a narrow transparent rim. Somewhat subdued on the nose showing a little fruit. Sweet fruit leads on the impact with ripe, round tannins wrapped in the fruit. The fruit carries a lovely purity. There is an attractive spicy twist to the aftertaste and the chewy fruit finish. Lovely port. 91-93/100. 24-Apr-14 at BFT5.
Top Ports in 2023: Taylor 1896 Colheita, b. 2021. A perfect Port.

2024: Niepoort 1900 Colheita, b.1971. A near perfect Port.
